Development demands and prospect of healthy buildings

States the urgent demands of healthy building development from the aspects of the pursuit of healthy lives and national strategy of Healthy China. Based on the definition of health and the analysis of building combined with health, puts forward that the performance of healthy buildings should cover necessary physical, psychological and social elements. Comparing with the healthy performance requirements between related national and foreign standards, proposes to formulate an evaluation standard for healthy buildings with universality and covering various healthy elements, based on China’s national conditions.  Briefly presents the main contents of Assessment standard for healthy building (T/ASC 02-2016). Suggests the development prospects of healthy buildings in China.
